You can’t just invent an entire television career

I’m too old to have watched the Storyteller when it would have been age-appropriate, but I did watch it. I watched it because my kid brother loved that show. It was the Storyteller, Little Bear, and Blue’s Clues. If Luke didn’t get to watch all three of those every day, there was hell to pay. And because we only had one television, when he watched his shows, we all watched these shows.

I remember Richard Brook. I remember the Storyteller. Sr Boastalot, the Little Asteroid, the Emperor’s New Clothes. He was like Wishbone, but Irish. And a guy instead of a dog.

Sherlock Holmes and his followers would have you believe that this man, and his entire career never existed. I remember his character on Emergency. He showed up just after a friend got me hooked on that show. How could anyone forget Brian’s heart-wrenching storyline? Even though it’s Emergency, where characters are not allowed to be happy, I kept hoping beyond hope that everything would work out for him. And then the finale for series 23 happened, and ALL THE EMOTIONS. ALL OF THEM.

Do not believe the lies. Do not believe the slander. Richard Brook is innocent. The Trial of the Century was faked. SHERLOCK HOLMES IS A FRAUD. No-one has seen or heard from Brook since the day Holmes took his own life. Please help find him and bring him home. He is not a criminal. He made a poor choice in this time of economic crisis and has paid enough for it.

This ‘I Believe in Sherlock Holmes’ campaign is sick and disgusting. You’re exploiting an innocent man because you can’t stand to face the truth. Holmes lied to his ‘best friend’ and he lied to all of you. And now these people and their campaign are spreading the same lies.

STOP THE SLANDER. JOIN THE COUNTER-CAMPAIGN. RICHARD BROOK IS INNOCENT.
